Torfinn Gaupås, Port Director at Karmsund Port Authority, has extensive and broad management experience from the maritime industry. He has a background from the energy sector and from maritime logistics. Torfinn has been a key contributor to the development of the logistics hub and other sites of Karmsund Port Authority. He leads the company through further development in new industries and new areas of focus. The company is currently developing its largest investment ever; Haugesund Wind Port Haavik. Through input from developers, OEMs, T&I companies and by using AI technology, Haugesund Wind Port Haavik is intended to be launched as one of the world's most efficient offshore wind ports. Its location on the southwest coast of Norway in sheltered waters, but with proximity to the North Sea, means that the port can serve offshore wind development across the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
