Ana Lia Rojas

Executive Director, ACERA A.G., the Chilean Renewable Energy and Storage Association

Ana Lía Rojas is the Executive Director of ACERA A.G., the Chilean Renewable Energy and Storage Association, and has more than 25 years of experience in the electricity sector. She is an economist and holds a degree in Economic and Administrative Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has held leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Chief of Staff at Chile’s National Energy Commission, as well as management roles in companies dedicated to the development and operation of wind energy assets and in multinational manufacturing companies within the industry.

A renewable energy specialist, her career has focused on emissions reduction and the role of the electricity sector in addressing climate change. She is also recognized for her strong public profile and her academic work as a lecturer in university programs and diploma courses. In 2021 and 2025, she was recognized among Chile’s 100 Leading Women by El Mercurio and Mujeres Empresarias.

She was a founding member of the Association of Women in Energy of Chile and served as its first President in 2023, promoting initiatives to advance gender equity in the sector. She has been a keynote speaker at national and international seminars and conferences and has also participated in specialized presidential delegations.
