Gard Hopsdal Hansen

Gard H. Hansen is Centre Director of FME NorthWind at SINTEF Energy Research, where he leads a national research centre connecting industry and academia to accelerate the development of competitive and sustainable offshore wind. He has extensive experience across academia, public administration and industry, including roles as Head of Section for Renewable Energy at the Norwegian Environment Agency and CCO at El-Watch. Hansen has previously served as Head of Department at NTNU and holds a PhD in Economic Geography, with expertise in energy transition, innovation and strategic collaboration.
