Floating wind value chain in the harbour of Haugesund

Participants can join a site visit that brings the floating wind value chain to life through short, focused presentations and a guided trip in Haugesund harbour and out to the historic island of Vibrandsøy.

We start with presentations at the meeting room Utsira at Quality Hotel Maritim, where developers and key companies in the Norwegian and international floating offshore wind supply chain will share concrete cases, lessons learned, and what is coming next.

• After the presentations, the group continues by boat with “sightseeing” in the harbour basin and over to Vibrandsøy.
• On Vibrandsøy, participants will be welcomed for a guided historic tour of the island (incl. Møllerfabrikken), showing how fishing, shipping activity and industry helped shape Haugesund as a city – followed by good food, informal conversations and time to connect.
• The tour is planned to end around 14:00, leaving enough time for participants to join the METCentre boat trip in the afternoon.
• The visit offers a mix of industrial insight, place-based storytelling and networking in a unique coastal setting.
